Looking for private piano lessons in Fishers Indiana? Private piano lessons meet once per week for 30 or 45 minutes, depending on repertoire and student’s needs, and includes a 30-minute resource time before or after the lesson for an immersive experience. Our goal is to develop the student’s full musical potential by presenting a balanced repertoire, progressive technique, music theory and performance opportunities.
All our piano instructors are degreed professionals with many years teaching experience and are active performers. Students must have a piano at home for daily practice. A digital keyboard is acceptable for the first year if it has touch sensitive keys. We host two formal recitals each year and have other performance opportunities throughout the year.

Also, all private lesson students are expected to participate in a group class lesson 4-6 weeks a year in of their private lesson. This allows us to work on technique, music theory, ensembles, improvisation, harmonization and music history together.
Resource Time Includes:
Students in private lessons are asked to spend a half hour before or after their scheduled lesson doing the self-guided resource time. Resource time includes working on ear training, sight reading, developing practice strategies, polishing performances and diving into music theory and history. We use computer programs, iPads, good-old fashioned worksheets and sometimes reading of short sections of books to round out the student’s learning.
Adult students are invited to attend our Celebrations. These get-togethers take place two times a year. Students have the opportunity to share music with their friends and families on a volunteer basis. This supportive environment allows students to nurture and encourage each other.
We work with every student on playing their music with expression. This gives the student a positive way to express their emotions. NO TALENT REQUIRED. The joy of music is for EVERYONE!
